Alright, I was shoved through their little portal into... what looks like the middle of some town that is definitely not any place I've ever seen. Now the question is, how do I get back? And what happened to my uniform?

I think it's different for everyone. I wound up in the middle of the forest.

There's not much to like. Those things I just mentioned get done to us on a regular basis by the Malnosso, for "experiments." There's no way to stop it or predict it either. It just happens.

From what I understand, this wasn't part of the transmutation, those in charge call themselves Malnosso and can toy with one's life as they see fit, this place is Luceti and one can't leave at will, those here are from different worlds and can also be from different points in time within those worlds, and don't remove the wings, no matter how badly you want to.

The middle of the forest is better than the middle of a river. At the very least, you begin your stay in dry clothes.

Only sort of. Outside of drafts and experiments, everyone's pretty much left on their own. But when the time comes, they don't leave anyone a choice.

None. There's no money here. Some people have jobs, but they aren't paid or anything. Most do it just because they want to help out.

We've all looked and so far, nobody's managed to find any way out. As far as we know, the only way out is when the Malnosso decide to let you out.
