Such a shame that one’s emotions can be so easily tampered with. I trust that for those of you who encountered such, the experience was not too traumatic?

It may have been more enjoyable for myself had I taken the time to know those in residence. Unfortunately, she wasn’t one I had spoken to often, and as such, I have difficulty recalling her name. I haven’t seen her around since that time, either. With the number of people who disappear at any given time, I can only surmise that she was among that group. I wish her well, wherever she may be.

Is manipulation commonplace here?

Got yourself a girlfriend after all, Colonel?

[He's so disappointed it wasn't a cow.]

[This is without a doubt the saddest post he has ever read.

...If it's true. HE KNOWS YOU, ROY. So he's more than a little suspicious.]

So, if I'm following you correctly, you were flung into a blissful romance with a woman that you still know nothing about and don't even remember her name.

So you're saying you got paired up with someone who disappeared almost right after?

Did you at least get her name?

[Because otherwise this is just sad.]

Truly? Our kidnappers are fond of playing around with their victims.

In retrospect? No. Though the immediate morning after was somewhat mortifying.

Awwww, so cute.

[And a little bittersweet at that but Selphie doesn't say that.]

It wasn't too bad. When I woke up, it all felt like a joke.

Sad that she's no longer here, though. You don't miss her?

[ Shiki didn't really miss her own valentine. Just as fast as those false feelings had come, they left. ]

As of today I can say that for myself. I am uncertain as to the other party, though I assume him to be somewhat ambivalent.

[Because it's Selphie, Roy. Just get used to it like everybody else does.]

I wasn't affected by the experiment and was otherwise a little out of town for most of it anyway.

The Malnosso, or the other party involved in the Shift?

What does not kill us makes us stronger, as the saying goes. It is frustrating, true, but at the moment there is little to be done for it, at least to my knowledge.
